Shelby Rider is an American fashion designer living in New York City. She received her BFA in fashion design at Virginia Commonwealth University. She also studied at Santa Reparata in Florence, Italy. Her focus is in fashion, but she has worked as a graphic designer, illustrator, photography intern, and assistant art teacher. Her work has been exhibited in Oklahoma, Alabama, Virginia, Italy, Qatar, and China. She specializes in surface techniques utilizing laser cutting, beading, screen-printing, and fabric manipulation.
